We finished the pool at the Cradle Boutique Hotel in late January. Amazing surroundings, lovely architecture and a great restaurant. The lilies are now going red as winter is approaching and the waterlilies are starting to go dormant. Waterblomm...

On a recent visit to the Drakenstein Valley we stopped in to explore the exquisite gardens at Babylonstoren. The three large water lily ponds are home to edible species of fish and equally edible waterblommetjies. The fish evidently enjoy their view!
